Addresses

What’s the Address section?

The Address is the section in Wedge that allows to define custom addresses (IPv4, IPv6, FQDN). Those addresses may be then used to define Security Policies or Address translation.

When to use it?

Block Access to the server

You have the server that you want to block access to. Define this server using the address and then create the Policy to restrict access.

Translate the address on the fly

You have an old server that will be shut down, and a second server to take over. You may redirect all traffic from Address A to Address B - define both addresses in this section and then create the Address Translation rule.

List of all objects

In the center part of the screen, you may find the list of all Addresses existing in the Ecosystem.
