Error 16435: Multi-factor authentication is already enabled for this user. Disable it first.

Problem description

When using Wedge web interface or API, I’m getting an error:

Error 16435: Multi-factor authentication is already enabled for this user. Disable it first.

Cause

You have tried to enable multi-factor authentication for a user who has it already enabled.

Solution

Disable MFA before enabling it again, or contact support to request an MFA reset.
